Hamid Khan

Hamid Khan is a Senior Partner at Cornelius, Lane & Mufti in Pakistan and a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, specialising in constitutional law, administrative law, and civil law. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Pakistan in most major constitutional cases over the last five decades.

Hamid has held numerous elected offices, including President of the Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Association (2001–2003), President of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (1992–93), and Member of the Pakistan Bar Council since 1990. He has authored several books, including Administrative Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Constitutional and Political History of Pakistan (OUP), and Islamic Law of Inheritance, and has contributed articles to periodicals and newspapers. He was a Visiting Lecturer of Laws at the University of Punjab, the National Institute of Public Administration, and the Civil Services Academy.

Hamid holds an LL.M. from the University of Illinois, an M.A. and LL.B. from the University of Punjab, and was admitted to practice in 1968.
