Yousaf Khosa

Yousaf Khosa is the Partner in Charge of the Islamabad office at RIAA Barker Gillette, specialising in Corporate Law. He is recognised as one of Pakistan’s leading corporate lawyers and is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, leading the litigation team in Islamabad with sector expertise in construction, oil and gas, and telecommunications.

Yousaf has acted as counsel in more than 700 litigation matters before Pakistan’s courts and regulatory tribunals, and has a strong record of success in domestic and international arbitration proceedings under ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID rules. He advises clients on capital markets, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and regulatory matters. He has been extensively involved in drafting significant petroleum laws of Pakistan and has also advised on telecoms laws in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Yousaf holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Cardiff (1996) and completed the Bar Vocational Course at BPP, London (1997). He is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
