Zubair Nasar

Zubair Nasar is an Associate at RIAA Barker Gillette in the Islamabad office, specialising in Arbitration and Mediation. He primarily assists the firm's partner in charge on international and domestic arbitrations and handles a wide range of litigation matters relating to contractual and commercial disputes before various courts in Islamabad.

Zubair has secured a favourable ICC arbitration award on jurisdiction for a major Pakistani oil and gas exploration and production company. His practice encompasses international arbitrations pertaining to oil and gas disputes, domestic arbitrations relating to construction disputes, and commercial and contractual litigation.

Zubair holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London (2018), an LL.M. in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution from City University London (2020), and completed the Barrister Training Course at BPP University London (2021). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in March 2022 and is an Advocate of the High Court (Balochistan Bar Council).
