Shafaq Rehman

Shafaq Rehman is a Partner at RIAA Barker Gillette in the Karachi office, specialising in Corporate Law. She advises on corporate and commercial matters, regulatory and transactional matters, including M&A, public procurement, banking and finance, telecoms and competition law.

Shafaq has worked on significant transactions, including advising WPP on its acquisition of media businesses in Pakistan, advising a global explosives firm on the mining sector in Pakistan, and acting as a strong negotiator on project finance documentation for South Asia Port Terminals. She is also a regular contributor to the Chambers Global Practice Guide for Doing Business in Pakistan.

Shafaq holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2011) and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (formerly the College of Law) in 2012.
