Danish Zuberi

Danish Zuberi is a Partner at Vellani & Vellani in Pakistan, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and dispute resolution. She is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and has over 25 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters.

Danish commenced her career in 1995 at Fazle Ghani, Advocates, in commercial and constitutional litigation, and later continued her practice at Vellani & Vellani. She then established her independent practice before accepting the position of General Counsel and Company Secretary at Pakistan Petroleum Limited, where she served until 2015. She took up partnership at Vellani & Vellani in 2016. She advises corporates and family-run businesses on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, compliance, oil and gas, anti-trust, taxation, and dispute resolution.

Danish holds an LL.B from the University of Wales (1994) and completed the Bar Vocational Course at The Honourable Society of Gray's Inn (1995). She is a CEDR-accredited mediator and serves as a Board Member of Al-Meezan Investment Management Limited. She has a keen interest in women's and children's rights and has served on the boards of various non-profit organizations, including War Against Rape, Aahung, and Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.
