Ferzeen Bhadha

Ferzeen Bhadha is a Partner at Vellani & Vellani in Pakistan, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and banking and project finance. She joined the firm in 1998, became an Associate Partner in 2015, and has been a Partner since 2016.

Ferzeen advises on the full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, delisting, incorporation of companies and not-for-profit organisations, winding up, foreign direct investment, joint ventures, anti-trust, project financing, setting up manufacturing facilities, banking and financing transactions, privatisation, and human resource related matters. She also advises on general commercial contracts ranging from licensing, franchising, and distribution agreements to toll manufacturing agreements and procurement and supply agreements. She has participated in litigation proceedings in the High Court of Sindh for commercial and taxation matters and has assisted senior counsel in the courts of Pakistan up to the Supreme Court. She has also undertaken compliance training on competition laws and anti-bribery and corruption legislation for Pakistani companies.

Ferzeen holds an LL.B from the University of Karachi (2000) and was enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Sindh in 2002. She is a member of the Sindh Bar Council, the Sindh High Court Bar Association, the Karachi Bar Association, and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.
