Fehem Ahson Hashmi

Fehem Ahson Hashmi is a Partner at Vellani & Vellani in Pakistan, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and cross-border transactions. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and has also practised in the Middle East with Baker & McKenzie and Clifford Chance in Riyadh, where he advised global institutional clients on major cross-border M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and dispute resolution matters.

Fehem advises on M&A with particular focus on the technology, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors, and has experience in the restructuring of large businesses and real estate holdings, including through court‑sanctioned schemes. He also advises on foreign direct investment, anti‑trust, and general commercial contracts.

Fehem holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and completed the Bar Vocational Course at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. He is a member of the Sindh Bar Council, the Karachi Bar Association, and the Inter‑Pacific Bar Association.
