Faran Khan

Faran Khan is an Associate at Vellani & Vellani in Pakistan, specialising in dispute resolution and commercial litigation. He regularly appears before the High Courts, Subordinate Courts, and Tribunals, representing individual and corporate clients across a broad range of contentious matters.

Faran has represented listed companies including PTCL, K‑Electric, and GSK Pakistan in service and labour matters before the National Industrial Relations Commission and the High Court; Coca‑Cola Beverages Limited in consumer protection cases before the consumer courts of Sindh; and Allied Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial Bank in recovery cases before the banking courts. He has also represented clients in rent cases, family cases, guardian and wards cases, succession matters, and pre‑arrest and post‑arrest bail applications before the National Accountability Bureau Courts, and has provided pro bono representation in family and property disputes.

Faran holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London (2017) and completed the Bar Practitioners Training Course at UWE Bristol (2020–2021). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln's Inn) in November 2022 and is also a qualified Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, with majors in Taxation and Audit & Assurance.

He also advises and facilitates clients on real estate matters, including title and ownership of properties and the creation of charges and encumbrances, and acts for both sellers and buyers in sale and purchase transactions. He is a member of the Sindh Bar Council and the Karachi Bar Association.
